When Dr. R. David Heekin left his former practice, with a mission to provide more personal orthopedic care, he did not want any recognition. He just wanted to redefine and improve his practice in a way that utilized the best orthopedic practices for his patients. Heekin Clinic opened January of 2015,
His happy and loyal patients and the Jacksonville community had a different idea. That October, Dr. Heekin’s new practice, Heekin Clinic was voted Best Orthopedic Practice in the Florida Times Union’s Bold City Best Contest. While Dr. Heekin, already #1 in Florida by volume, says he finds the title flattering, he states “My greatest reward is the success of my patients.”
